Responsibilities
Leading the electrical design and engineering of various projects including electrical power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power and low voltage systems
Reviewing and approving electrical calculations, drawing, and specifications
Identifying areas improvements for various project phases including concept development, preliminary design, and final design
Communicating with customers to understand and define their needs, provide project status, and respond to requests or concerns – both verbal and written, as well as presenting to customers as needed
Serving as the electrical authority of electrical systems, codes, and standards
Providing training, guidance and mentorship to staff
Qualification
Required
7+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Strong knowledge and familiarity of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Strong knowledge and familiarity of the International Building Code (IBC)
Strong knowledge and familiarity of local energy codes
Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong working knowledge of Autodesk REVIT
Preferred
SKM Power Tools or ETAP knowledge
