Responsibilities

Receives, reviews, and analyzes recruitment requests and supporting documentation from serviced organizations
Codes and reviews all types of complex personnel actions
Participates in special initiatives, studies and projects
Performs a full range of staffing advisory services to organizations serviced

Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period

Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft
General Experience: For positions for which individual occupational requirements do not specify otherwise, general experience is 3 years of progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4
EDUCATION: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: You must submit a copy of your transcript
Knowledge of the full range of Federal HR affirmative employment, recruitment, and placement principles, concepts, policies, and analytical techniques
Knowledge of other HR processes sufficient to relate recruitment and placement issues to them
Skill in applying established principles, provisions, laws, regulations, practices, and techniques of staffing and recruitment
Skill in troubleshooting and resolving the most difficult problems associated with providing comprehensive recruitment and placement advisory services
Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions from information, and communicate information clearly, orally and in writing
Ability to use automated personnel data system to document, review, correct, amend, and/or approve personnel actions
