Responsibilities
Dashboard Development: Build, publish, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, KPIs, and scorecards using Power BI Desktop
Data Modeling: Transform raw data into insightful knowledge by designing efficient data models and utilizing strong TSQL skills
Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI dashboards, DAX queries, and data loading processes for high-volume datasets
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business lines (e.g., Finance, Risk, Operations) to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Governance & Security: Implement row-level security (RLS) and adhere to data governance, compliance, and risk management policies
Tools: Utilize Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform (Power Automate), SQL Server, and sometimes Python/SAS
Qualification
Required
Generally 4–10+ years of experience in data visualization, analytics, or BI development
Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query), SQL, and data modeling
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Finance, Computer Science, or Statistics
Previous experience in the banking or financial industry is preferred
Familiarity with MS SQL Server, SharePoint, JIRA, and cloud platforms like Snowflake or Azure
Preferred
Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy)
Knowledge of automation tools and advanced Excel (macros, VBA)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
