General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is a global leader in the design, engineering and production of munitions and weapon systems. They are seeking a dynamic and innovative Manager with experience in implementing and monitoring HR programs to support a high-performance culture and diverse workforce, while also supervising HR functional operations and advising leadership on HR issues.

Responsibilities
Supervises human resources functional operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance
Administers human resources programs and policies to reflect the organization's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce
Maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership
This position will oversee human resources functions of a union workforce. Human resources union experience preferred
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Discipline/Major: Human Resources or Business degree preferred
Additional certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred
