Responsibilities
Review and process applications, renewals, and cancellations for agent/broker licenses
Implement changes in insurance licensing requirements based on new laws, regulations, or company policies
Maintain accurate databases and related files for assigned states
Update and distribute licensing/appointment requirements and procedures manuals
Act as a licensing expert, advising employees, agents, and brokers on requirements and the submission process
Serve as a liaison between the Licensing department and assigned internal teams to resolve license issues quickly
Workload breakdown: Approximately 6 hours of office administration and 2 hours of customer service daily
Qualification
Required
2-3 years of combined administrative and customer service experience
Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
Proven ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Excellent computer proficiency with standard business software
Demonstrated decision-making skills and the ability to analyze customer inquiries to determine the appropriate action
Preferred
Information systems and insurance/financial services industry practices (i.e. annuities, mutual funds)
Associate's or Bachelor's degree
