Responsibilities
Own and lead the global SAP application environment across SD, MM, PP, and FI/CO, with full accountability for strategy, delivery, and operational outcomes
Serve as the primary SAP leader for executive stakeholders, partnering directly with the CIO and senior business leaders across Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance
Provide enterprise-level SAP direction for a global manufacturing business serving Consumer, Commercial, and Government markets
Lead a distributed SAP organization consisting of onsite functional leads by module and offshore delivery teams, ensuring clarity of roles, accountability, and performance
Partner closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and executive leadership to optimize and standardize core business processes, including order-to-cash, plan-to-produce, and procure-to-pay
Define and enforce SAP governance, including solution design standards, change management, testing, and release management
Own SAP vendor relationships, including system integrators and support partners, and play a key role in future vendor selection
Ensure SAP solutions meet internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations applicable to a global and government-serving manufacturing environment
Act as the senior escalation point for SAP-related issues impacting business operations, customer delivery, or financial performance
Collaborate with Infrastructure and Security leadership while retaining ownership of SAP functional outcomes (excluding Basis)
Qualification
Required
US Citizenship Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
10+ years of SAP experience in a manufacturing-centric environment
Strong functional expertise in SAP ECC SD, PP, and MM, with deep understanding of Sales and Manufacturing processes
Proven experience leading SAP solutions across multiple modules and business functions
Experience managing global or multi-site SAP environments, including coordination of onsite functional leads and offshore teams
Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and execution levels, translating business needs into SAP direction and results
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated readiness to assume enterprise-wide and global SAP leadership responsibility
Preferred
Experience with FI/CO or strong understanding of SAP financial integration
Exposure to S/4HANA planning, readiness, or transformation activities (hands-on S/4 experience not required)
Experience in regulated or compliance-driven manufacturing environments
Prior ownership of SAP vendor or SI relationships
SAP certifications in SD, MM, PP, or related areas
