Responsibilities
Generally responsible for providing assistance to the Human Resources team including administration, benefits, compensation, recruiting, and other duties
Supports HR projects and activities according to HR priorities
Assists in preparing editing updating job descriptions
Supports the HR department in basic screening, recruiting calls and sourcing databases
Supports HR in health and safety initiatives
Supports HR in employee relations areas
Assists in preparing HR documentation and presentations Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program at the time of internship
Self-starter with a passion for learning and a strong work ethic
Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
