Responsibilities
Build packaging for shipment using assigned methods, boxes, and bulks for export
Accurately pack according to customer, subsidiary, or supplier orders
Ensures all packages meet warehouse standards after packing; no visible damage, boxes securely closed, address labels affixed and not obstructed
Must pay close attention to label requirements for fragile or dangerous goods for export
Operates computer and scanners using customer database
Ensure packaged orders are placed in correct area for outbound shipment processing
Maintain organization and cleanliness in designated work area
Follows all safety protocols
Qualification
Required
High school diploma / GED
Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Position requires standing for an 8-hour or longer shift
Flexibility to work overtime
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
Strong communication skills
Must work effectively with team members
