Aviation Maintenance Program Analyst
Astrion is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Program Analyst to support Army aviation maintenance practices. The role involves data mining and analysis of Army weapons systems, training customers on database systems, and engaging with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities
Performing data mining on Army weapons systems and components in support of the Maintenance Consolidated Database System and the Item unique Identification program support and implementation
Performing data analysis on Army weapons systems and components in support of the Maintenance Consolidated Database System and the Item unique Identification program support and implementation
Engaging with and solving customer problems with component discrepancies
Training customers on the proper understanding, use and procedures related to Item Unique Identification and the Maintenance Consolidated Database System
Qualification
Required
Must possess an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation
Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited college in an Engineering discipline or Applied Mathematics or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
Minimum of 6 years of related work experience
Thorough understanding of ARMY Aviation Maintenance Practices and Processes
Familiarity with aircraft technical publications (IETM, ASAM/SOF, TB, DMWR)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Highly desired experience working as or with aviation maintenance personnel and processes
Knowledge of aircraft propulsion systems design, development and analysis
Knowledge and experience working with databases to extract data for analysis
Working knowledge of Army Database software applications such as ULLS-A, ACN, RIMFIRE, FMAS, ASAP, MCDS, JDRS, PDREP, TAMMS-A
Performed duties as an Maintenance Test Pilot, Technical Inspector, Maintenance phase team leader
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to effectively communicate through both oral and written communication between multiple stakeholders both government and contractor
Proven record in training technical procedures and methods
