Responsibilities
Network Design & Architecture: Develop and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud network architectures
Implementation & Configuration: Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and optimize network performance
Performance Monitoring: Monitor network health, troubleshoot issues, and plan for capacity
Security & Compliance: Implement firewalls, VPNs, and ensure adherence to security standards
Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and negotiate SLAs
Disaster Recovery: Create and maintain network continuity and recovery plans
Innovation: Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements
Qualification
Required
3+ years of proven experience in network architecture and design required
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), hardware, and security frameworks required
Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies required
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred
SD-WAN Technologies: Design and deployment of software-defined WAN solutions preferred
Network Automation: Experience with scripting (Python, Ansible) for network automation and orchestration preferred
Zero Trust Architecture: Implementing secure access frameworks and segmentation strategies preferred
Cloud Networking: Advanced experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure) preferred
Network Virtualization: Working with technologies like VMware NSX or similar preferred
Performance Optimization: Capacity planning and QoS configuration for high-performance networks preferred
Security Integration: Deep understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure network design principles preferred
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty
Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Security+
Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP)
Bachelor's degree Computer Science, IT or related field
