Responsibilities
Management for processing and issuance of all licenses and certifications for the Code Officials Qualification Board and the Home Inspector Licensure Board
Providing general Board administration, processing applications, reviewing/approving/denying licenses and certifications or pre-certifications, administering examinations, creating educational courses, approving/denying external education including instructors, and investigating allegations against licensees
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years of program experience related to the area of assignment, including one year of supervisory program experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
1 year of experience with SERT process
Demonstrated experience working as staff or staff support for a Licensing or Certification Board in NC
Demonstrated experience with licensing and certification databases
Ability to drive a state vehicle for logistics during SERT operations and holds a valid driver license
