Insurance Product Leader

Lincoln Investment is an independent broker dealer and registered investment advisor that offers brokerage, investment advisory and other financial services. The Insurance Product Leader will work alongside advisors in the new business process and assist in strategic planning to help shape the insurance program as it grows.

Responsibilities

Work with advisors across Lincoln locations to generate insurance business. This will include assisting with training and education, working with advisors to plan, quote, submit and issue new business, and interacting directly with clients in partnership with advisors
Act as a contact and liaison with carrier partners, BGAs and IMOs
Understand and support the advisor-client relationship in all aspects of the business
Develop key relationships with advisors, support staff and members of the Lincoln organization to help promote the insurance business
Assist with strategic planning and goal setting

Required

3+ years of a documented, successful sales track record in the insurance industry
Life licensed in applicable states and Series 6 and 63 preferred
Experienced with working in a partner referral environment
Must be willing and able to travel routinely to advisor offices and client meetings
Expert level user of online engagement tools (TEAMS, Zoom, etc.) and the ability to conduct professional meetings from a home office
Participate in the advisor recruiting process
Strong written and oral communication
Ability to interact with people at all levels
Strong problem solving skills
Detail oriented
Ability to manage multiple tasks while still meeting required deadlines
Organizational and time management skills
Flexibility
Customer service orientation
Ability to understand new concepts quickly and communicate them to others
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience
May sit at work station for extended periods of time; may view computer screen for extended periods of time
Travel required

Preferred

Series 6 and 63 preferred
Wholesale experience is a plus
Leadership experience is preferred with a proven track record to motivate and move others with your goals and vision
