SMT Operator
Waséyabek is a company focused on manufacturing Printed Circuit Board Assemblies for the global electronics market. The SMT Operator is responsible for automated surface mount manufacturing, including the setup and operation of SMT equipment, as well as quality assurance and documentation.

Responsibilities
Set-up and operate automated SMT assembly equipment including Screen Printer, Pick and Place Machine, and Reflow Oven (training available)
Basic soldering and rework of SMT components. Must successfully complete solder training course
Pick components and prepare kits for manufacturing
Perform visual inspections of SMT assemblies
Maintain accurate job tracking records
Interpret IPC-A-610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications
Maintain a neat work area
Shall be accountable for quality, quantity and inspection of work performed
Must be familiar with company policies
Train co-workers and assist when problems arise
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be familiar with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components and SMT assembly process
Have a general knowledge of manufacturing processes
Read and interpret assembly instructions
Able to work with speed and accuracy
Able to communicate effectively and relate to co-workers
Able to follow verbal instructions
Able to work well under minimal supervision
Punctuality and good attendance record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Ability to pass a background investigation, including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check, and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must have visual acuity to read and interpret assembly instructions
Preferred
Prior knowledge or experience working with a Native American Tribe
