Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end BI engagements including requirement gathering, data modeling, dashboard design, and deployment
Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into BI solutions
Design and develop interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports for executive and operational users
Build and maintain semantic models, data marts, and BI layers to ensure consistency and performance
Optimize queries, data models, and reports for performance and scalability
Ensure data accuracy, governance, security, and adherence to best practices
Drive BI standards, templates, and reusable components across projects
Mentor junior BI developers and conduct design/code reviews
Collaborate with data engineering teams on ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse design
Support pre-sales activities, estimations, and client demos (for consulting roles)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
8–12+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, or analytics roles
Strong expertise in BI tools such as Power BI and/or SSRS
Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling (Star/Snowflake)
Experience working with data warehouses and cloud platforms (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration concepts
Strong understanding of KPI design, metrics frameworks, and reporting best practices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with senior stakeholders
