File and prosecute personal injury lawsuits in Florida state and Federal courts
Draft and respond to written discovery
Conduct Legal Research (We use Westlaw)
Take and defend depositions
Draft and respond to dispositive motions
Prepare for and attend hearings
Actively participate in and try cases when necessary
Handle a reasonable litigation caseload
Negotiate settlements with defense attorneys and adjusters
Attend Mediations and Arbitrations
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of litigation experience in personal injury law
Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Courtroom experience and comfort appearing independently
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple cases efficiently
Strong work ethic and commitment to professionalism
Preferred
Second chair trial experience preferred but not required
