Responsibilities
Perform execution of distributed and ad hoc queries against industry Common Data Model structures
Contribute to extract-transform-load (ETL) activities including understanding of the data sources, research questions, and data quality assessment
Acquire and analyze data and create large and complex analytic datasets to support Data Model refreshes by accessing various sources/systems
Contribute to the maintenance and refresh of the infrastructure required for running complex queries and generating insights to support business objectives
Review results, identify quality issues, and perform root cause analysis as well as document findings and other Data Management Plan items
Support analytical, and research activities related to Real-Word evidence generation
Use SAS, SQL, Python, and R as the primary data management tools
Collaborate with individuals in other time zones and locations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with SAS programming
3+ years' experience with healthcare claims data analysis
3+ years' experience with ETL (extract-transform-load) data files
Experience with the Real-World Data research initiatives and evidence driven projects
Experience in preparation and data management plan/ documentation
Experience working with and integrating large datasets from multiple sources
Experience with the FDA on research initiatives and data driven projects
Preferred
Experience in SQL, R, Google Cloud Platform, GitHub, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Confluence, Database Management, UNIX/Linux
Experience with the FDA on research initiatives and data driven projects
Experience adapting and creating with assistance production processes to automate routine data management tasks
Masters degree preferred
