Responsibilities
Handle post-production editing for YouTube and social videos across multiple formats, with a focus on explainer and documentary styles
Build compelling narratives through expert pacing, visual storytelling, and seamless editing
Ensure timely execution while maintaining high quality standards and meeting deadlines
Adopt and refine our video’s established and evolving creative direction
Collaborate with our editors and motion graphic designers to meet requirements for each project
You understand how pacing, typography, graphic motion, sound design and platform context combine to engage audiences
Apply expert-level skills in sound design, music selection, color correction, and audio leveling
Optimize video content for maximum engagement across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Shorts, etc.)
Maintain journalistic standards including accuracy, fact-checking, and editorial integrity
Adapt content to meet platform-specific performance goals
Qualification
Required
Experience creating original videos that incorporate audio, video, still images, graphics and text
Strong video and motion design skills. (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator) plus familiarity with social editing tools and asset versioning
Ability to follow and shape aesthetic direction and branding across multiple show voices
Strong project-management skills: prioritising across multiple shows, coordinating across teams, delivering high-quality content under deadline
Excellent communicator, collaborator and creative partner — comfortable working with show producers, hosts, brand/creative and marketing teams
Must have a strong portfolio of digital work
