Responsibilities

Develop, produce, and edit social-first content that highlights driver personalities, taps into NASCAR’s history and fandom, delivers the on-track product in a fresh way, and gives fans access (approximately 65% of the role)
Support at-track and event coverage by collaborating with the Sr. Manager and social team on race-weekend shot lists, traveling to events, and producing content on site that delivers against the creative vision (approximately 35% of the role)
Contribute to creative strategy and ideation, helping shape new social ideas that grow the audience and move the NASCAR brand forward
Proactively pitch, storyboard, and concept original social-first content for NASCAR and track social channels
Contribute to paid social video efforts as needed, taking what we learn on organic social and using it across marketing efforts
Manage projects end-to-end, from concept through execution, ensuring work meets quality and timeline expectations
Collaborate closely with teams across social, marketing, creative design, digital, editorial, and broadcast
Stay current on platform trends, formats, and tools, bringing fresh thinking into the work
Use performance data and analytics to help evaluate content and inform future creative decisions

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of two (2) years related experience, internship, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
2 to 5 years of professional experience in video production, preferably with a focus on social media or digital content
Proficient shooting high-quality video on lightweight camera setups in fast-moving environments
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
Strong understanding of the best practices for social-first content on Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and creative team environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrate strong creative judgment, with a keen understanding of why certain formats and moments work on specific platforms
Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and tight timelines
Experience with motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects
Familiarity with the sports industry, particularly motorsports
A portfolio showcasing successful social-first video projects and innovative content strategies
