Staff Accountant II
CMC North America is the exclusive distributor of CMC aerial lifts across North America, specializing in high-quality tracked MEWPs. The Staff Accountant II role is responsible for supporting month-end close activities, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting, partnering closely with Finance leadership, Sales, and Operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities
Post and reconcile monthly accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset entries
Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
Analyze income statements for accuracy and investigate variances as needed
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with internal and external audit requests and documentation
Partner with internal stakeholders on billing questions, discrepancies, and collections
Perform other ad-hoc accounting responsibilities as required
Prepare AR aging reports and other recurring management reports
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, billing, collections, and cash application
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and established procedures
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance function
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
Solid understanding of general accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred
Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume accounting environment
Knowledge of revenue recognition concepts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external customers
