They are seeking an entry-level, part-time Technical Designer to support their Design and Product Development teams, ensuring accurate sample measurement and clear documentation throughout the technical design process.

Responsibilities
Measure incoming samples accurately and consistently according to established standards
Check samples against specs and flag discrepancies or issues for review
Run wash tests on samples according to internal testing standards and care instructions
Measure and document pre- and post-wash results, noting shrinkage, torque, or appearance changes
Maintain organized sample tracking throughout the development process
Import and maintain measurements, specs, wash results, and fit notes within the PLM system
Support tech pack updates based on direction from the Senior Technical Designer
Ensure technical information is clearly documented, accurate, and up to date
Organize and prepare for fittings, including sample readiness and documentation
Capture, organize, and manage fit comments from fittings
Share fit notes, wash results, and updates with Product Development, Design, and the Senior Technical Designer in a clear and timely manner
Partner closely with Design and Product Development to support fit and development needs
Assist with general technical design tasks as needed to keep projects moving efficiently
Qualification
Required
Entry-level experience or education in technical design, apparel construction, or patternmaking
Basic understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and fit principles
Ability to measure garments accurately and consistently
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Comfortable managing multiple styles and deadlines simultaneously
Able to follow established processes and documentation standards
Clear, professional communicator (written and verbal)
Comfortable working cross-functionally and taking direction from senior team members
Willing to ask questions and learn
Based in the Denver area and able to work in-office 1–2 days per week
Comfortable working in a part-time role (~20 hours per week)
Reliable, accountable, and eager to grow technical design skills
Preferred
Experience with a PLM system (training provided if needed)
Internship or assistant experience in technical design or product development
Familiarity with knits or intimates
Prior exposure to basic garment testing or wash testing
