Responsibilities
The associate will represent a range of stakeholders, including debtors, official committees, acquirers, and significant creditors, in bankruptcy and restructuring matters nationwide
The work includes Chapter 11 cases, out-of-court restructurings, and bankruptcy litigation involving fraudulent transfer and preference actions
The practice offers meaningful responsibility, substantive legal work, and exposure to complex financial restructurings
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of commercial bankruptcy or restructuring experience
Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings and related bankruptcy litigation
Exposure to representing debtors, creditors, committees, or acquirers
Strong academic credentials and excellent research and writing skills
Comfortable managing matters with increasing autonomy
Admitted in Texas or eligible to waive in
Preferred
Bankruptcy clerkship experience preferred
