Responsibilities

Supporting operations and maintenance (Tier 2/3) of deployed Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) interface technologies
Engineering and deploying capabilities to provide new functionality, improve system performance/availability, and generate efficiencies in maintaining the operational environment
Supporting Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities related to CDS technologies
Identifying and resolving conflicts related to the implementation of CDS technologies within the enterprise
Contributing to the successful completion of key project milestones
Providing solutions to a variety of complex technical problems
Developing plans to safeguard computer files against unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure

Required

Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
7+ years of experience in cybersecurity
Experience with Linux operating systems and scripting
Knowledge of general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts
Knowledge of cybersecurity architectural principles such as defense in depth, resilience, and integrated security operations
IAT Level II certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Preferred

Experience creating custom Splunk dashboards
Experience working in Agile environments
Knowledge of CDS technologies on the NCDSMO approved products list
Knowledge of database and operating system security
Knowledge of defensive cyber operations
Ability to apply security principles to systems and enterprise system designs
