Responsibilities
Translate the client's legacy products into technologically advanced systems for their mission
Lead engineering projects for the U.S. Air Force
Design and develop systems, evolving them with advanced technology solutions
Broaden your skillset into areas like aerospace avionics and electrical systems
Merge your engineering knowledge and aircraft avionics systems to create technological solutions to improve aircraft capabilities
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience with ground or flight aerospace systems
Experience with ground radar and support equipment
Experience with FAA ground certification process
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
Preferred
Experience with diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages
Experience with Integrated Master Schedules
Experience with managing system and component maintenance
Knowledge of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
Knowledge of U.S. Air Force acquisition processes, and military specifications and standards
Knowledge of the U.S. Air Force Airworthiness process and Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E)
Ability to design and analyze power systems and create engineering drawings
Top Secret clearance
