Responsibilities
Handles incoming documents, uploads and indexes as requested
Confirms member eligibility on incoming Medicaid and Electronic claims
Assists in the processing of incoming and outgoing mail as assigned
Provides timely and thorough follow-up with internal and external customers
Recognizes and alerts appropriate leadership of trends or other anomalies and participates in the solutions
Completes HIPAA training annually
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of one year of related experience
Experience in health insurance claims administration or related field
Working knowledge of computers and software including but not limited to Microsoft Office products
Work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills as well as detail oriented
Strong written, telephonic, and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, multi-task and manage priorities to meet deadlines
Ability to meet deadlines, handle stress, interacts professionally with others
