Computer Aided Design Technician
PTS Advance is seeking an Electrical CAD Technician to join a multidisciplinary technical team supporting electrical system planning and design initiatives. The technician will assist with drafting, documentation, and design updates for utility and infrastructure-related projects.

Responsibilities
Prepare new drawings and revise existing engineering drawings based on sketches, layouts, and markups
Support planning and design efforts for system improvements and infrastructure upgrades
Ensure compliance with internal drafting standards, client standards, and ANSI drafting practices
Assist with drafting, design, and documentation across multiple projects
Utilize CAD and design software to support technical deliverables
Support ad hoc assignments as directed by management
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in a CAD-related program and a minimum of 2 years of relevant drafting experience
High school diploma plus a specialized CAD certification (must be listed on resume) and 2–5 years of relevant drafting experience
Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline is not permitted for this role
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Experience with Bluebeam
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred
Strong attention to detail and adherence to drafting standards
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, technical team environment
