Responsibilities
Independently review, draft, and negotiate various types of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Identify and flag potential risks and issues within contracts, and work collaboratively to mitigate those risks
Maintain and organize contract documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
Work closely with procurement, trade compliance, and other departments to support their contracting needs
Proactively address contract-related issues, developing and implementing effective solutions
Contribute to the development and improvement of contract templates and processes
Embrace and utilize technology to streamline contract review and management, including AI-powered tools
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in contract administration
Demonstrated ability to understand, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including NDAs, sales terms, and other binding agreements
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving contract-related issues, with the ability to develop effective solutions
Comfortable using technology, including Microsoft Suite (Word, PDF), and able to quickly learn new systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred
Familiarity with contract management systems is a plus
