This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of BAS equipment and software, working closely with facility managers and engineering teams to implement system upgrades and improve energy efficiency.

Responsibilities
Install, configure, and calibrate BAS hardware and software components according to manufacturer specifications and project requirements
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on BAS equipment to ensure continuous system functionality
Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults using diagnostic tools and software, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime
Collaborate with engineering and facilities teams to implement system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements
Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, system configurations, and maintenance logs
Provide technical support and training to end-users and junior technicians as needed
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and company policies during all phases of work
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics, HVAC, or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Building Automation Systems or related control systems
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic
Experience with BAS platforms such as Johnson Controls Metasys, Honeywell, or Siemens Desigo
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple job sites as required
Preferred
Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related technical discipline
Certification in BAS technologies or controls systems (e.g., NATE, BACnet, or equivalent)
Experience with network communications protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks
Familiarity with energy management systems and sustainability practices
Strong computer skills including proficiency with diagnostic software and Microsoft Office Suite
