Project Manager (Construction)
Jupiter Power is an energy infrastructure company focused on the development, construction, and operation of battery energy storage assets. They are seeking a Project Manager to manage utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Projects and Substation Projects, ensuring project safety, scheduling, budget management, and construction quality.

Responsibilities
Manages the overall design of the project coordinating external and internal engineering resources
Manages the project plan, hosts site kick-off in conjunction with the construction manager, and close out meetings for the project
Ensures EPC issues daily JHAs and Plan of the Day
Ensures EPC is on schedule and assists with schedule recovery plans as needed
Manage design RFIs coordination with internal and external engineering resources
Pro-actively engages landowners and ensures their expectations are met
Leads by example to show that safety is the most important function, ensuring that all employees follow safe practices while working
Accountable to continually reinforce safe behaviors and correct at risk behaviors
Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) occurs before scopes of work commence
Adheres to and ensures all site team members understand standard operating procedures
Ensures new hires receive job- and task-specific training prior to commencing work (PM, Supers and CMs)
Leads and supports the site team in technical, quality and safety, utilizing systems in place
Provides excellence in the management and delivery of the project, in-line with Jupiters expectations
Strengthen and continually maintain EPC relationship
Accountable for the project budget, costs to date, forecasts cost to completion, procurement and materials management
Ensures EPC is following the Contract and reviews Change orders
Manage field purchases of project related materials and equipment as required
Maintains a full understanding of all contractual obligations for the project and documentation of variances
Ensures that the overall terms of the main EPC contract are passed on to the subcontracts
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Must be familiar with Project Management process including Budgeting, Contract Negotiations, Change Order Negotiations, and Scheduling including the use of scheduling software
Must be versed in Construction safety (OSHA 30 training certificate is a plus)
Must have 5+ years of Construction experience, including on-site experience
Must have 3+ years of Supervisory experience in a Construction leadership role
Must have a valid drivers license, eligible for corporate vehicle insurance coverage
Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport for travel outside the U.S
Preferred
Advanced level of knowledge in OSHA 30
