$22/hr - $25/hrNoblesoft Technologies is seeking a DataCenter Operation Analyst to manage various tasks related to server decommissioning and hardware installation. The role involves diagnosing hardware faults, performing installations of NVMe/SSD devices, and configuring Rack Distribution Units (RDUs) as per customer requirements.

Responsibilities
Prepare specified server nodes and/or chassis for decommissioning and perform other decommissioning-related tasks, as per direction
Install NVMe/SSD devices into specified server nodes
Review ticket queue to assign and diagnose hardware related faults for servers
Diagnosis of HDD, DIMMs, PSUs, fans, NICs, etc. by reviewing ticket info and BMC/SEL/OS Logs
Network/power fault remediation, reseat/replace cables, NICs and PSUs cables
Follow parts request and RMA processes to acquire replacements, open Asset requests logging serial and parts numbers and applying appropriate tickets statuses
Ticket hygiene, capturing the root cause, actions, parts and all pertinent diagnosis and remediation efforts in the ticket
The Supplier will install NVMe/SSD devices into specified server nodes
Verifying the server node and NVMe/SSD compatibility based on provided specifications
Installing NVMe/SSD devices into the appropriate slots within the server node
Securing devices as per manufacturer guidelines to ensure proper alignment and connection
Documenting the installation with device serial numbers and updating customer’s asset tracking system
The Supplier will configure and troubleshoot Rack Distribution Units (RDUs) based on customer requirements
Supplier will perform “pod/MBU builds”
Unpacking, installing mounting rails, and installing ASW Switches into specific Server Cabinets and RUs in each Pod as detailed in customer-provided documentation
Qualification
Required
Experience with decommissioning server nodes and chassis
Ability to install NVMe/SSD devices into server nodes
Experience in reviewing ticket queues to assign and diagnose hardware-related faults for servers
Knowledge in diagnosing HDD, DIMMs, PSUs, fans, NICs, etc. by reviewing ticket info and BMC/SEL/OS Logs
Experience in network/power fault remediation, reseating/replacing cables, NICs, and PSUs
Familiarity with parts request and RMA processes to acquire replacements
Ability to log serial and parts numbers and apply appropriate ticket statuses
Experience in ticket hygiene, capturing root cause, actions, parts, and all pertinent diagnosis and remediation efforts
Ability to verify server node and NVMe/SSD compatibility based on specifications
Experience in documenting installations with device serial numbers and updating asset tracking systems
Ability to configure and troubleshoot Rack Distribution Units (RDUs) based on customer requirements
Experience in performing pod/MBU builds, including unpacking, installing mounting rails, and installing ASW Switches
