Senior LevelKnowHireMatch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerodynamics Engineer to join its core engineering team. This role is responsible for the aerodynamic integrity of advanced gas turbine products, overseeing the design and analysis from concept to field support.

Responsibilities
Leading the preliminary and detailed definition of flow path and airfoils for gas turbines
Designing turbine exhaust diffusers and collectors
Supporting new engine programs, product upgrades, and uprates through comprehensive aerodynamic analysis
Developing and maintaining proprietary analytical tools/software to improve design efficiency and predictive capabilities
Collaborating frequently with Mechanical Design, Heat Transfer, and Performance Groups to ensure designs meet all program requirements for manufacturability, cost, durability, and performance
Actively participating in field issue resolution related to product durability and manufacturing
Working effectively in inter- and intra-disciplinary team settings
Qualification
Required
Highly skilled and experienced in Aerodynamics Engineering
Technical responsibility for aerodynamic design and analysis of gas turbines
Leading the preliminary and detailed definition of flow path and airfoils for gas turbines
Designing turbine exhaust diffusers and collectors
Supporting new engine programs, product upgrades, and uprates through comprehensive aerodynamic analysis
