Mid LevelScalence L.L.C. is seeking a skilled professional to join their team on a hybrid basis in Richmond, VA for a 6-month engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing backend services and deploying applications on cloud platforms, emphasizing collaboration and high-quality code.
Information Technology & Services
Responsibilities
Design and develop backend services using Java (Spring Boot) to support scalable enterprise applications. (20%)
Build and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange between systems. (15%)
Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM). (20%)
Integrate backend services with cloud-native components to enhance performance and reliability. (15%)
Implement authentication and authorization using AWS IAM and adhere to API security best practices. (10%)
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. (10%)
Monitor application performance and logs using AWS monitoring tools to troubleshoot issues. (5%)
Follow CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments. (5%)
