Responsibilities

Daily Check-in & Orientation: Meet and escort contractors upon arrival. Verify that all teams understand their specific scope of work for the day and possess the necessary authorizations to begin
Permit Management: Review, authorize, and sign internal work permits (LOTO, Hot Work, etc.). At the conclusion of the shift, perform a final walkthrough to ensure the job was completed according to the permit, the site is clean and organized, and all safety protocols were maintained before releasing contractors
Continuous Monitoring: Conduct regular site rounds to observe work in progress. Ensure contractors are performing strictly according to the established plan, technical specifications, and safety standards
Logistics & Planning Coordination: Coordinate and communicate with project management, facilities teams, and other project leads to plan for upcoming contractor activities. Identify potential space or schedule conflicts and organize the logistics of site activity to ensure a seamless workflow
Safety Leadership: Maintain a proactive OSHA-focused mindset. Identify potential hazards, enforce site safety rules, and exercise stop-work authority if necessary to prevent incidents
Stakeholder Communication: Participate in relevant planning and strategy meetings with client management. Act as the primary liaison between field activities, facilities operations, and leadership
Issue Escalation: Promptly identify and escalate any deviations from the project plan, schedule delays, or site conflicts to the appropriate management channels

Required

5–10 years of experience in industrial field supervision, site coordination, or project administration within a complex facility environment
Proven ability to plan and coordinate the logistics of upcoming work, including staging, site access, and multi-trade activity coordination
Deep understanding of OSHA regulations and a proven track record of maintaining high-safety environments (OSHA 30 highly preferred)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to be assertive with contractors while maintaining professional, collaborative relationships with management and facilities teams
Strong understanding of industrial project workflows, documentation control, and the administrative side of site management
Ability to work some 12-hour shifts (6 AM to 6 PM) and flexibility to work occasional weekend overtime as project demands and logistics require

Preferred

CMC (Construction Management Certification) or other relevant industrial management certification is preferred but not required
