Responsibilities

Application Support: Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including code fixes, patches, and performance anomalies
Requirements & Systems Analysis: Analyze business processes, gather functional requirements, and translate them into detailed specifications
Application Programming: Design, code, test, debug, and document software solutions
Project Management: For small projects, develop project plans and schedules, coordinate resources and team activities, facilitate meetings, and reports status to stakeholders
Communication: Participate in meetings and maintain regular communication with management and customers
Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure integration and alignment across systems
Prepare activity and status reports for assigned projects and tasks

Required

Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and two to four years of application development experience, preferably in a higher education or enterprise environment
Proficiency in application design, development, and testing
Experience with Java and Grails programming languages and frameworks and strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
