Responsibilities
Establish, review, and continuously improve operational processes, standards, MOPs, and SOPs
Drive consistency, quality, and compliance across all critical infrastructure operations
Serve as the senior technical decision-maker and subject matter expert
Oversee all technical facility operations including:
Power distribution systems
UPS and generators
Mechanical and HVAC systems
Building Management Systems (BMS)
Ensure continuous uptime and optimal system performance
Lead incident response, emergency management, and root cause analysis to minimize impact to operations
Oversee planning and execution of infrastructure projects and customer deployments
Ensure readiness of space, power, cooling, and network resources
Provide technical leadership and hands-on support during customer onboarding and solution implementation
Prepare, analyze, and present monthly operational metrics and performance reports
Communicate system health, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership and stakeholders
Lead, mentor, and develop engineering and facilities teams
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations including:
ISO 9000
ISO 14000
OHSAS 18000
Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
7+ years of progressive experience in data center operations, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical environments
Proven leadership and supervisory experience managing technical teams
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Expert knowledge of UPS systems
Expert knowledge of generators
Expert knowledge of power distribution equipment
Expert knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems
Expert knowledge of BMS platforms
Strong understanding of industry codes, safety standards, and quality management systems
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong written, verbal, and technical presentation skills
Preferred

Comfortable owning decisions in high-impact, high-availability environments
Strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on technical leadership
Confident communicator with executive presence
