Responsibilities
Coordinate recruitment efforts for production, maintenance, and administrative positions
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and facilitate hiring process
Develop relationships with staffing agencies and vocational schools
Manage job postings and applicant tracking systems
Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding processes
Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances
Assist with disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans
Support supervisors with employee relations issues
Facilitate communication between management and hourly workforce
Handle unemployment claims and workers' compensation cases
Maintain employee files and HR database systems
Prepare HR reports and metrics for management
Update employee handbook and policy communications
Assist with special projects and initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification
Experience in manufacturing environments
Knowledge of workers' compensation and safety regulations
