Responsibilities
Serve as lead engineer for public works projects and supervise multidisciplinary project teams
Develop preliminary engineering reports, project work plans, proposals, and schedules
Research and interpret jurisdictional standards for incorporation into design documents
Produce and review design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD/Civil3D
Manage project budgets, timelines, forecasting, and quality control procedures
Coordinate directly with clients, conduct site visits, document findings, and support construction administration
Prepare exhibits, presentations, and technical correspondence
Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development
Support business development efforts, including client outreach and proposal participation
Qualification
Required
Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
10+ years of experience
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil3D
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of problem-solving complex engineering issues
Demonstrated ability to maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent service
Preferred
GIS familiarity
