Responsibilities
Design and maintain logical and physical data models supporting enterprise financial systems
Build, enhance, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and system integrations
Support cloud and hybrid data platforms with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
Improve data quality, lineage, and governance practices
Troubleshoot complex data and pipeline issues and deliver durable solutions
Collaborate with engineering, application, and business teams on enhancements and modernization
Contribute to data architecture standards, documentation, and technical roadmaps
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in data engineering and/or data architecture roles
Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale financial or regulated systems
Strong hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling (logical & physical)
Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development
Strong hands-on experience with cloud or hybrid data platforms
Experience working in structured environments with established processes
Ability to operate independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Azure data ecosystem experience (ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake)
Experience modernizing or migrating data platforms (on-prem → cloud)
Background in public-sector or financial services data systems
Exposure to data governance, lineage, and enterprise data standards
Experience supporting long-lived, mission-critical platforms
