The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, collaborating with stakeholders to create interactive reports and dashboards that contribute to data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements
Design, develop, and implement interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize and analyze complex data sets
Create data models and perform data transformations to ensure data accuracy and consistency in Power BI
Create models by joining tables from multiple source systems with large volumes of data. Systems such as SAP, BW, HANA, and SQL, PI, Enablon, Track, Cloud system, etc
Optimize and troubleshoot existing Power BI reports to enhance performance and user experience
Integrate Power BI solutions with other data sources and systems as needed
Stay abreast of industry best practices and new features in Power BI, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance reporting capabilities
Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI usage and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, data engineers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless integration of Power BI solutions
Create strong and insightful documentation regarding Power BI solutions developed
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in data and Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service
Experience in designing and developing data models for business intelligence
Proficient in SQL and data warehousing concepts
Familiarity with data visualization best practices and UI/UX design principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
Microsoft Power BI certification
Experience with data integration and ETL processes
Familiarity with the oil and gas industry
Python, R, and other programming tools for data and analytics
