Responsibilities

Following/leading an Agile methodology, e.g., scrum, Kanban, XP, and hybrid
Analyzing and refining systems requirements
Translating systems requirements into applications prototypes
Planning and designing systems architecture
Determining and designing applications architecture
Determining output media/formats
Designing user, systems(s) interfaces
Working with customers to test applications
Assuring software and systems quality and functionality
Integrating hardware and software components
Writing, reviewing, and maintaining program documentation
Evaluating new applications software technologies such as containerization and the use of Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, configuration as code, microservices, standard application program interfaces (API), continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and maximizing the automation of the software development lifecycle (SDLC); or
Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of application software services
Manage interface agreements and updates to user documentation by providing interface and user documentation support (processes, procedures, people, material, and information required to manage functional agreements for exchange of data and update user functional information within BMx FoS)

Required

U.S. Citizen
Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD
OR bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD
CompTIA Security+ Certification (desired)
