Qualification
Required
Associate degree or higher
Minimum 10 years of network engineering experience in the United States
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks security technologies, including: Next-Generation Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN (site-to-site and remote access), SSL/TLS inspection, Content filtering and DLP
Minimum 4+ years of experience with Cisco enterprise networking, including: Routing and switching, Wireless infrastructure, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP
Minimum 3+ years of experience with reverse proxy and load-balancing solutions (A10 Networks or equivalent)
Minimum 2+ years of experience with Network Access Control (NAC), including: Cisco ISE, RADIUS, 802.1x, ACLs
Strong experience with: Microsoft MFA and identity integrations, Cloud networking and security (Azure/AWS/GCP virtual networking), Microsegmentation in data center environments, PKI and digital certificate management, Vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus, NMAP), Packet analysis tools (Wireshark, Riverbed, OpNet), Centralized monitoring (Panorama, SolarWinds)
Proven ability to: Design and implement secure, highly available 24x7 enterprise networks, Troubleshoot complex production issues, Mentor junior engineers, Produce detailed network diagrams, design documents, and implementation plans
Required Certifications (Active or expired within last 3 years): Palo Alto: PCNSA or PCNSE (or equivalent Palo Alto Network Security Professional/Engineer certification), Cisco: CCNA Enterprise or CCNA Security, CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security
