They are seeking a Principal System Operations Engineer to contribute to the deployment and monitoring of their global cloud service, focusing on building and scaling their CAD and data management platform.

Responsibilities
Work to complete stories and fix bugs on a 3-week Agile style release process using a CI/CD pipeline
Review logs to debug issues with deployed, globally distributed environments
Take ownership of new solutions, ideas, assignments, action items, and issues, and drive them to completion
On-call rotation on average 1 week at a time every two months
Qualification
Required
US Citizenship or Green Card is required due to ITAR requirements
Ability to commute to the Seaport Boston office 2-3 days a week
10+ years in a highly technical, hands-on operations / DevOps / support / QA role
Experience with large AWS, Azure, or GCP environments is strongly recommended
Strong experience with administering and deploying on Linux systems
Experience with automated deployment and monitoring tools like Puppet and Ansible
Experience with automated Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Cloudformation, etc
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, science, or equivalent experience
Preferred
Experience with backend databases like MongoDB or Elasticsearch is a plus
Experience supporting Java applications a plus
Python or bash scripting a plus
