AEO/SEO Specialist

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive technical audits to resolve issues related to crawling, indexing, and site architecture; implement schema markup to enhance eligibility for rich results and AI citations
Conduct SEO/AEO testing for new pages, including checking indexability, mobile-friendliness, and rendering. Write detailed specifications for development teams to ensure best practices are met
Configure and maintain tracking implementations to measure AEO signals, AI-driven referral visibility, and traditional search rankings; monitor LLM crawling behavior and perform sentiment analysis
Maintain reporting systems using Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, and SEMRush; report on performance trends across local, shopping, and generative search results
Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates and shifts in AI platform behavior, translating platform changes into actionable recommendations

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher
2-3 years of experience in AEO, SEO, or digital analytics
Experience with or exposure to Google Search Console, SEMRush, and Adobe Analytics (or similar web analytics platforms)
Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally to implement data-driven technical recommendations
Precision in managing machine-readable data and structured content to ensure compliance with AEO best practices
Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to robots.txt, sitemaps, and Core Web Vitals
Foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to search engine crawling and rendering
