Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support for the Japan–US Grass-Root Business Partnership project
Assist in the planning and implementation of various activities, programs, and services aimed at promoting bilateral economic relations between Japan and the United States
Support research and analysis on relevant U.S. federal and state government policies, and assist with information dissemination for both Japanese and U.S. stakeholders
Collect and research information on Japanese investment trends in the U.S. and the business activities of Japanese companies; support coordination, communication, and information sharing, as well as progress management and related administrative tasks
Assist with coordination and communication with related offices, including economic development organizations in neighboring states
Support the preparation, coordination, and operation of related events, including liaison and follow-up
Assist with the preparation of presentation materials and the creation of various documents and data
Prepare business reports and internal approval documents
Handle general administrative and accounting tasks, including phone and visitor reception
Qualification
Required
Ability to perform duties including document drafting and coordination in Japanese, as well as English reading comprehension, email correspondence, and telephone communication
Willingness to handle detail-oriented tasks requiring accuracy, such as internal procedures and report compilation, and to perform general administrative duties
Ability to respond flexibly and proactively to a wide range of tasks
Proficiency in basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Flexibility and adaptability in event coordination and support
Strong attention to detail when conducting research and coordinating with internal teams and external organizations
Willingness to travel domestically within the U.S. (primarily to nearby cities on the East Coast)
