Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives supporting IT Procurement across Deriva Energy’s renewable energy portfolio
Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs); evaluate proposals with internal stakeholders and lead supplier selection and negotiations
Negotiate and manage information technology agreements and support contract renewals (e.g., licensing, infrastructure, networking, and telecom agreements)
Partner with IT and Business Stakeholders to develop and establish strategic procurement initiatives
Develop sourcing strategies that maximize value, mitigate risks to the company and its clients and support long-term supplier performance
Own supplier relationships, to include developing, maintaining and fostering the partnerships for continuous improvement and effective performance management
Safeguard and ensure compliance with company procurement policies, controls, and governance standards
Develop sourcing strategies that maximize value and mitigate risks to the company and its clients
Assist in other day-to-day Procurement tasks as required
Identify opportunities to standardize contracts, suppliers, and commercial terms across the business
Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and best practices
Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders as needed and support the full procure-to-pay lifecycle

Required

Bachelor's degree with 5 years or more of relevant experience with one (1) year or more of having direct reports
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree; Associate degree with 7 years or more of relevant experience
In Lieu of an Associate's degree; HS/GED with 9 years or more of relevant experience

Preferred

Renewable energy industry experience, particularly supporting fleet operations, asset management, or field operations for wind and/or solar assets
Strong contract negotiation skills with demonstrated experience negotiating IT specific agreements
Working knowledge of commercial and legal terms commonly used in IT, including but not limited to Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Master Licensing Agreements, Software and Saas, Equipment supply and warranty terms, Support and managed services contracts (SLAs, etc.)
Strong understanding of commercial risk allocation, performance guarantees, and liability provisions
Proven ability to work in a strategic operations environment with shifting and competing priorities
Experience with full-cycle procure-to-pay (P2P) processes and ERP systems
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Strong ability to work with ambiguity and adapt to change quickly
Self-motivated, with high level of initiative and output
Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and foster good relationships with teammates and business partners
Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
