Enterprise Sales Manager
Vertical Insure is a leading embedded insurance platform built for vertical SaaS platforms. The Enterprise Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and scaling the Enterprise Account Executive team, focusing on execution, accountability, and team development without carrying an individual sales quota.

Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and coach a team of Enterprise Account Executives to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets
Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and performance check-ins to drive accountability, development, and engagement
Provide hands-on coaching across discovery, deal strategy, stakeholder management, negotiation, and close
Set clear expectations and support individual development through ongoing feedback and growth plans
Foster a high-performance, high-integrity sales culture aligned with Vertical Insure’s values
Own team-level pipeline management, deal inspection, and forecasting
Ensure accurate, predictable forecasts with a strong command of deal health, risks, and next steps
Drive consistent CRM usage and HubSpot hygiene across the team
Partner closely with Sales Leadership to support revenue planning and execution
Partner with Sales Leadership and HR to recruit, interview, and hire high-performing Enterprise Account Executives
Play an active role in onboarding, ramping, and developing new hires
Continuously raise the bar for talent through thoughtful hiring, coaching, and performance management
Own frontline performance management responsibilities, including delivering feedback, addressing underperformance, and making improvement recommendations
Partner with Sales Leadership and HR on personnel decisions as needed
Hold team members accountable to expectations while maintaining trust, fairness, and transparency
Act as a strategic resource for Enterprise AEs on complex or high-impact opportunities
Support deal strategy, executive alignment, and internal coordination without owning deals directly
Help remove obstacles and ensure alignment across Product, Operations, Compliance, and Engineering
Serve as a key liaison between the Enterprise Sales team and internal stakeholders
Partner with Product, Marketing, and Operations to refine messaging, improve processes, and enhance execution
Represent the needs of the Enterprise Sales team while maintaining alignment with company priorities
Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, enablement, and team efficiency
Contribute to the evolution of Vertical Insure’s enterprise sales playbook
Champion continuous improvement, accountability, and growth across the team
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or insurtech
Experience managing and coaching quota-carrying sales teams, or demonstrated leadership experience operating at a comparable level of responsibility
Proven ability to drive performance through coaching, accountability, and execution
Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, forecasting, and deal inspection
Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing sales talent
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead through clarity, influence, and sound judgment
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
Preferred
Experience selling complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise solutions
Familiarity with vertical SaaS, embedded finance, or insurance-related sales
Experience working cross-functionally with product, technical, or operations teams
