CNC Lathe Machinist - 1st Shift - (1143-B)

Responsibilities

Read and understand process travelers, setup journals, tooling sheets and operation sheets to produce complex finished product
Make tooling adjustments and program offsets as necessary
Ability to accurately inspect work utilizing various instruments, including OD & ID indicating gaging, indicators, micrometers, height stands and verniers
Perform daily TPM responsibilities
Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area. Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations. Wear necessary personal protective equipment as required
Actively participate in cross-training, cost savings and team activities to improve processes
Maintain appropriate tact and diplomacy in dealings with co-workers, team members and supervisors

Required

Minimum of 5 years of aerospace CNC machining experience is required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Read and understand process travelers, setup journals, tooling sheets and operation sheets to produce complex finished product

US Person (Green Card Holder or United States Citizen) due to government contracts

Preferred

Degree/certificate from vocation school or college program is a plus, but extensive experience may substitute for education
