Responsibilities
Driving to and from job sites
Collection of various samples
Performing quality assurance tests and observations
Preparing and submitting daily reports
Interacting with clients, contractors, and other engineering professionals
Qualification
Required
ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I and SB102, 1A and 1B certifications a must
0-5 years of experience working in the construction industry
Working knowledge of asphalt pavements
Must be willing to transition from field testing and inspection duties to laboratory test responsibilities as needed
Ability to travel 20% of the time & willing to work 'off hours' when needed up to 60 hours per week
Preferred
Highway or building construction experience and a proven history of working well with contractors and owners to accomplish construction tasks is preferred
Knowledge of TXDOT testing procedures relating to asphalt materials
Proficiency in preparing and documenting test result in accordance with TXDOT standards and project requirements
Ability to use and navigate Site Manager and Metafield is a plus
