Responsibilities
Provide tax guidance and analysis to the management team to support strategic and operational decisions
Collaborate with the external CPA firm to prepare, review, and file federal, state, and local tax returns for multiple entities
Maintain accurate tax records, supporting schedules, and documentation for audits and regulatory inquiries
Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, deadlines, and reporting requirements
Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the organization
Identify opportunities for tax efficiencies, credits, and deductions
Assist with entity‑level tax planning, including restructuring, new entity formation, and intercompany transactions
Work with accounting staff to ensure proper tax treatment of transactions
Reconcile tax‑related general ledger accounts and support month‑end and year‑end close processes
Become a business partner both internal with mfg/operations/sales and externally with vendors and customers
Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
5–7 years of tax accounting experience, ideally in a multi‑entity environment
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations
Experience working with external CPA firms
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple deadlines across various entities
Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and collaborating with cross‑functional teams
