Responsibilities
Management of the initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing of New Product Development projects
Support project life cycle (PLC) development
Manage continuous improvement projects (CIP)
Manage project cost targets and engineering project budgets
Coordinate with cross-functional leaders to develop project resource plan
Drive the development, execution, and completion of complex projects
Working and supporting other Program Managers, reporting to the Engineering PMO
Interface to functional teams, such as Marketing, Technical Support and Field service teams
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Engineering Discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics preferred)
Minimum 5 years managing complex projects which require interaction and cooperation with multiple disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, and Software Engineers)
Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) license is a must
Experience with complex equipment or systems, which include electro-mechanical components (motors, vacuum pumps), robotics, heaters, power supplies, PLC and PC controls and complex instrumentation
Strong project management and time management skills, together with the ability to multitask at the project and task level
Excellent communications skills
Ability to adapt to environments, multiple roles and interact with a diverse group of individuals
Strong ability to interface cross-functional teams, including executive management
Preferred
Previous capital equipment design experience, preferably in the area semiconductor, vacuum equipment, or other similar high tech, large-scale automated equipment
AutoCAD, SolidWorks experience preferred
SAP or ERP/MRP experience preferred
Management experience preferred
