New Grad, Entry LevelSouthEast Bank is seeking a Loan Assistant to assist and support Loan Officers in managing workflow and loan documentation. The role involves coordinating with Loan Operations and performing various tasks related to loan processing and customer interaction.

Pull tax Card, Request appraisals
Complete loan information sheet
Assist with gathering financials; loan exceptions; Past dues; loan maturities
Correspond with centralized processing regarding loan documentation, loan closings, etc
Back up as a remote Loan Assistant to assigned locations when other Loan Assistants are out
Familiarity with and/or knowledge of perfection of liens, recording of UCCs, and collateral management practices related to commercial requests
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent, required
Prior Loan Processing Experience, required
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and adhere to all state and federal regulations that pertain to this position including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Consumer Privacy and Fair Lending
Working knowledge of state and federal regulations including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Consumer Privacy and Fair Lending along with industry best practices that pertain to this position
Preferred
Familiarity with residential loan disclosure requirements, preferred
Knowledge of loan compliance regulations, preferred
